Og det passer hundrede procent p\u00e5 oplevelsen man f\u00e5r p\u00e5 SAS nye Airbus A350. Ihvertfald p\u00e5 Business Class, som er det produkt vi har testet indtil videre p\u00e5 det nye fly. Kom med ombord og se hvad du kan forvente af SAS nye flytype, som trafikerer langruterne.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #999999\"><em>FinalCall.travel var inviteret af SAS, men alle meninger i denne artikel er skribentens egne.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\nTirsdag eftermiddag kl. 15.40 blev SAS splinternye Airbus A350 trukket tilbage fra gate C37 i K\u00f8benhavns Lufthavn. Det var f\u00f8rste gang det nye fly skulle flyve med passagerer efter det blev leveret til SAS i slutningen af november m\u00e5ned.<br \/>\nEfter indvielsesceremonien i gaten, hvor SAS b\u00f8d p\u00e5 Mikkeller \u00f8l og sliders, s\u00e5 blev vi budt velkommen ombord omkring en halv time f\u00f8r take off. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nVel ombord i s\u00e6det b\u00f8d kabinepersonalet p\u00e5 valget mellem et glas champagne, appelsinjuice eller vand. I dagens anledning valgte jeg champagne. At v\u00e6re passager p\u00e5 f\u00f8rste afgange med en ny flytype i SAS-fl\u00e5den m\u00e5 v\u00e6re v\u00e6rd at fejre.<br \/>\nKaptajnen b\u00f8d velkommen og havde beregnet flyvetiden til 8 timer og 15 minutter. Han understregede ogs\u00e5, at det var ca. 15 min. hurtigere end hvis vi havde fl\u00f8jet med A330 eller A340. Vi endte ogs\u00e5 med at lande i Chicago cirka en time for rutetid.<br \/>\nFlyet blev skubbet tilbage fra gaten pr\u00e6cist p\u00e5 planlagt afgangstid kl. 15.40 og var i luften f\u00e5 minutter senere.<br \/>\nNu er det ikke f\u00f8rste gang jeg flyver med Airbus A350 &#8211; for selvom flytypen er ny i SAS-fl\u00e5den, s\u00e5 er det omkring 5 \u00e5r siden, at det for f\u00f8rste gang blev sat i trafik med passagerer. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<strong>Lydl\u00f8st fly<\/strong><br \/>\nMen jeg bliver alligevel altid lidt overrasket over hvor &#8220;lydl\u00f8st&#8221; det er. Naturligvis kan man h\u00f8re motorerne under takeoff og lidt st\u00f8j fra vinden n\u00e5r man er i luften, men lydniveauet ombord er betydeligt lavere end i de \u00e6ldre flytyper. Og det er m\u00e5ske i virkeligheden &#8211; fra passagerernes synsvinkel &#8211; den allerst\u00f8rste forskel p\u00e5 at flyve med A350 og \u00e6ldre fly. P\u00e5 papiret er det ogs\u00e5 en bedre luftkvalitet og en bedre lufttryk, men reelt er det nok lydniveauet som betyder mest.<br \/>\nMen tilbage til det som denne artikel handler om. SAS Business Class produkt ombord p\u00e5 den nye Airbus A350.<br \/>\n<strong>Den nye kabine<\/strong><br \/>\nDet var tydeligt at alle kabineansatte var stolte af det nye fly og vi blev som g\u00e6ster taget rigtigt godt imod og behandlet rigtigt godt.<br \/>\nMen det var ogs\u00e5 tydeligt at det var en ny flytype for dem og at de aldrig havde set flyet f\u00f8r dagens afgang. Derfor tog serveringen ret lang tid. Det vil jeg dog p\u00e5 ingen m\u00e5de klandre kabinepersonalet for. Jeg har fuld forst\u00e5else for at det kan tage lidt tid at g\u00f8re sig bekendt med et helt nyt fly, nye drinks og en indretning som er anderledes end det de er vant til. Og n\u00e5r det er sagt, s\u00e5 kan jeg intet negativt sige om kabinepersonalet. Tv\u00e6rtimod &#8211; de var venlige, s\u00f8de og im\u00f8dekommende og det var tydeligt at de knoklede for at passagererne ombord skulle f\u00e5 den bedst mulige oplevelse &#8211; selvom alt var uvant. Godt arbejde.<br \/>\nAl respekt til dem. Jeg misunder dem ikke n\u00e5r de skal k\u00f8re en stor servering med nye cocktails og rutiner &#8211; uden at have muligheden for at forberede sig inden.<br \/>\n<strong>Nye cocktails<\/strong><br \/>\nNu hvor jeg har n\u00e6vnt nye cocktail, s\u00e5 lad os g\u00e5 lidt mere i dybden med det.<br \/>\nP\u00e5 denne f\u00f8rste afgang med A350, s\u00e5 havde SAS nemlig introduceret et till\u00e6g til det normale menukort &#8211; som indeholdt flere forskellige cocktails man kunne v\u00e6lger imellem. Disse cocktails vil ogs\u00e5 blive tilbudt p\u00e5 de andre flytyper, men uden de specielle cocktailglas, som er forbeholdt A350.<br \/>\nAlle disse cocktail er mixet p\u00e5 forh\u00e5nd og udviklet af baren Tjoget i Stockholm, som er rangeret som nr. 37. p\u00e5 listen over verdens bedste barer.<br \/>\nHer kan du se det ekstra barkort, som var ombord p\u00e5 A350.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35629\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35629\" style=\"width: 900px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35629\" src=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/IMG_7885.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"1200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35629\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nN\u00e5r man flyver p\u00e5 Airbus A350, s\u00e5 bliver de endda serveret i nye cocktailglas, som b\u00e5de har SAS og Airbus A350 logo. En rigtig fin detalje. Flyver du med A330 eller A340, s\u00e5 kan du stadig f\u00e5 serveret disse cocktails, men ikke i det specielle A350-glas.<br \/>\nJeg smagte en &#8220;Above The Clouds&#8221;, som best\u00e5r af gin, lemon, pomegranate, ros\u00e9 peber, sukker og et st\u00e6nk champagne. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nI dagens anledning, s\u00e5 havde SAS ogs\u00e5 valgt at opgradere Champagnen de serverede. Normalt er det en Gosset Grande R\u00e9serve NV, som er p\u00e5 menukortet hos SAS. En Champagne, som absolut er godkendt. Men i dag havde de opgraderet den til en Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Mill\u00e9naires 2004 for at fejre det nye flys f\u00f8rste afgang med passagerer. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nDa madserveringen tog lidt tid, s\u00e5 fik jeg ogs\u00e5 tid til at kigge lidt n\u00e6rmere p\u00e5 Business kabinen. Toiletterne i den nye A350 er forholdsvis sm\u00e5, hvis man sammenligner med A330 og A340. Her er der desv\u00e6rre heller ikke noget vindue, som SAS ellers har v\u00e6ret kendt for. Men de er brugbare og p\u00e5 samme niveau, som man ellers finder i branchen. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nDer skal lyde en stor ros til teamet, som udvikler kabineinteri\u00f8ret, som virkeligt har form\u00e5et at kigge p\u00e5 det nuv\u00e6rende produkt og s\u00e5 forbedre de sm\u00e5 sk\u00f8nhedsfejl der har v\u00e6ret.<br \/>\nFor det f\u00f8rste s\u00e5 er luftmadrassen borte. Nu er der en helt normal madras p\u00e5 stolen og man slipper dermed problemer med om den vil pumpe og eller lukke luft ud. Efter denne rejse m\u00e5 jeg indr\u00f8mme, at siddekomforten er betydeligt bedre i A350 end i den gamle kabine. Uden luftmadrassen i ryggen, s\u00e5 bliver stolen ikke n\u00e6r s\u00e5 varm og er generelt langt mere behagelig at sidde i. Stor ros til teamet bag, som har rettet op p\u00e5 det.<br \/>\nBordet er ogs\u00e5 anderledes. I det nye fly, s\u00e5 har man et bord som kan foldes og er st\u00f8rre n\u00e5r det er foldet helt ud. Det er desuden langt lettere at hive ud fra konsollen ved siden af s\u00e6det. N\u00e5r bordet er foldet ud, s\u00e5 kan det justeret i afstand fra kroppen og her er der plads til selv ret store passagerer. Har man foldet bordet p\u00e5 midten, s\u00e5 er der en &#8220;rille&#8221; som man kan stille sin egen tablet i. Det er m\u00e5ske lige at str\u00e6kke den lidt for langt for i virkeligheden er det en skinne med nogle riller i. Da der er tale om et helt nyt fly med en ny internetleverand\u00f8r, s\u00e5 har SAS ikke haft muligheden for at teste det over Atlanten. Derfor var der ogs\u00e5 flere medarbejdere med, hvis opgave var at teste systemet undervejs. Efter middagen gik de rundt og gav adgang til flere passagerer &#8211; deriblandt FinalCall.travel. Men da der var tale om en test af systemet, s\u00e5 vil vi vente med at komme med en anmeldelse af det. P\u00e5 denne tur blev der foretaget en del justeringer, s\u00e5 det vil ikke v\u00e6re fair at anmelde det. S\u00e5 i praksis skal du nok forvente at du kan surfe p\u00e5 nettet, tjekke mails m.v., men det vil ikke v\u00e6re muligt at streame film og tv. Uanset vil det blive en forbedring i forhold til det nuv\u00e6rende system p\u00e5 langruteflyene.<br \/>\n<strong>Serveringen<\/strong><br \/>\nP\u00e5 dagens flyvning var det den normale menu, som blev serveret. Og det kan man ikke klage over.<br \/>\nL\u00f6jrom til forret er og bliver den bedste forret man kan f\u00e5 i luften i dag, hvis man sp\u00f8rger mig. Jeg valgte &#8220;Venison ballotine&#8221;, som blev serveret med cider- og pebersauce, bagte kartofler og lidt andet tilbeh\u00f8r. Men intet overraskende i det. S\u00e5dan har SAS gjort l\u00e6nge og s\u00e5 l\u00e6nge maden smager godt, s\u00e5 m\u00e5 det v\u00e6re det vigtigste. At d\u00f8mme ud fra den menu, som serveres lige nu, s\u00e5 er den ogs\u00e5 blevet lidt mere &#8220;mainstream&#8221; end tidligere. At mange retter har haft mere fokus p\u00e5 at v\u00e6re specielle end hvordan de smager har netop v\u00e6ret et af vores kritikpunkter tidligere og her lader det til at SAS er g\u00e5et i den rigtige retning. F.eks. har de indf\u00f8rt en &#8220;Traditional Western Favourite&#8221;, som jeg godt nok aldrig har h\u00f8rt om skulle v\u00e6re en traditionel ret. Men det er et skridt i den rigtige retning. Der er lidt variation af oste og kage og ikke mindst, s\u00e5 serverer SAS nu en is fra \u00d6sterhagen i Sverige, som er langt bedre end den fra Gute Glass, som de har serveret ganske l\u00e6nge.
