Luftens Grimme \u00c6lling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Torfinn Viking &#8211; LN-RKP &#8211; Den Grimme \u00c6lling &#8211; R\u00e6dselsflyet&#8230;. K\u00e6rt barn har mange navne kan man sige. SAS &#8220;Reservefly&#8221; p\u00e5 langruterne, som l\u00e6nge har v\u00e6ret p\u00e5 vej p\u00e5 pension, men har vist sig at v\u00e6re mere sejlivet end forventet, har fl\u00f8jet sin sidste planlagte tur med passagerer.<\/strong><br \/>\nLidt over 22 \u00e5r fik Airbus A340-300 flyet &#8211; med serienummer 167 og registreringsnummeret LN-RKP &#8211; lov at flyve passagerer rundt i verden. De sidste 5 \u00e5r af sit lange liv for SAS.<br \/>\nNu har det s\u00e5 &#8211; efter sigende &#8211; fl\u00f8jet sin sidste planlagte tur med passagerer. Iflg. vores kilder i SAS, s\u00e5 er der ikke flere flyvninger planlagt med &#8220;reserveflyet&#8221; efter det kom hjem fra sin sidste rejse fra Hong Kong i dag. Der g\u00e5r dog stadig nogle dage inden flyet endeligt flyves til ophuggeren.<br \/>\nVi har fors\u00f8gt, at f\u00e5 disse oplysninger officielt bekr\u00e6ftet fra SAS, men efter flere henvendelser, s\u00e5 er de endnu ikke vendt tilbage med en bekr\u00e6ftelse.<br \/>\n<strong>Langt liv i luften<\/strong><br \/>\nFlyet startede sit liv i 1997 hos Air Canada, hvor det fik registreringsnummeret C-FYLC. Her fortsatte det i ti \u00e5r frem til 2007.<br \/>\nFra 2007 fik det nyt hjem hos LAN Chile og kom s\u00e5 p\u00e5 midlertidig pension ved udgangen af 2012, hvor det blev opmagasineret i sm\u00e5 to \u00e5r inden det kom ind i SAS fl\u00e5den, som et reservefly. Det skete som en del af SAS handel med Airbus om nye A330E og A350-fly. Efter sigende fik SAS dette fly meget billigt og det gav flyselskabet muligheden for at f\u00e5 lidt mere luft i en ellers meget presset langrutefl\u00e5de.<br \/>\n<strong>Gode nyheder for passagererne<\/strong><br \/>\nDa SAS modtog flyet i 2014, s\u00e5 var det gode nyheder for passagererne. Det meget omdiskuterede fly havde stadig LAN Chiles kabineinteri\u00f8r installeret &#8211; og dengang var det faktisk bedre end hvad SAS tilb\u00f8d p\u00e5 sine egne fly.<br \/>\nSelvom kabinen var lidt slidt, s\u00e5 var det ikke mere end SAS egen aldrende Business Class kabine. LN-RKP kunne til geng\u00e6ld byde passagererne p\u00e5 helt flade senge at sove i og et underholdningssystem, hvor man kunne starte og stoppe filmene &#8211; i mods\u00e6tning til p\u00e5 SAS egne fly.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_27078\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27078\" style=\"width: 1151px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-27078\" src=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/11\/IMG_1433.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1151\" height=\"863\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-27078\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">S\u00e5dan ser Business Class-stolen ud p\u00e5 LN-RKP. Foto: Flemming Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nMen da SAS i 2015 begyndte at introducere nyt kabineinter\u00f8r i deres egne fly, s\u00e5 var LN-RKP ikke l\u00e6ngere s\u00e5 attraktiv. Det noget slidte interi\u00f8r og begr\u00e6nsede underholdningssystem &#8211; ligesom konfigurationen med seks s\u00e6der i bredden &#8211; levede ikke op til de nye og flotte kabiners niveau.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_31859\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31859\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-31859\" src=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/03\/IMG_5053.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-31859\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">SAS nye Business Class. Foto: Flemming Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nEfterh\u00e5nden som SAS fik installeret nye kabiner p\u00e5 alle de \u00f8vrige langrutefly, s\u00e5 blev LN-RKP et frygtet m\u00f8de for passagererne.<br \/>\n<strong>Altid et uventet m\u00f8de<\/strong><br \/>\nEt af de store problemer var, at man aldrig rigtigt vidste hvor man kunne m\u00f8de &#8220;Den Grimme \u00c6lling&#8221;. SAS kaldte det selv et &#8220;reservefly&#8221;, men i praksis har det i lange perioder indg\u00e5et fast i ruteplanerne. Og man vidste aldrig hvilken rute det fl\u00f8j p\u00e5. Det gjorde at mange passagerer blev skuffede n\u00e5r de i markedsf\u00f8ringen var blevet lovet de nye og flotte kabiner, men havnede p\u00e5 en noget outdated og slidt Business Class.<br \/>\n<strong>SAS Plus var en udfordring<\/strong><br \/>\nP\u00e5 SAS Plus var flyet &#8211; specielt i starten &#8211; endnu mere frygtet. LN-RKP havde nemlig helt almindelige \u00f8konomiklasse s\u00e6der der &#8211; dog med lidt bedre benplads.<br \/>\nEfter mange klager over produktet, s\u00e5 besluttede SAS dog at installere SAS Plus s\u00e6derne fra de gamle kabiner p\u00e5 dette fly. Det var dog p\u00e5 bekostning af underholdningssystemet, s\u00e5 her fik passagererne udleveret en iPad med et meget begr\u00e6nset filmudvalg.<br \/>\n<strong>Mange bonuspoint i kompensation<\/strong><br \/>\nDe mange passagerklager over at havne p\u00e5 LN-RKP&#8217;s slidte og aldrende Business Class og Plus-klasse fik SAS til at give ganske attraktive kompensationer i form af bonuspoint.<br \/>\nHavde man booket en Business Class billet og havnede p\u00e5 dette fly, s\u00e5 var det helt normalt at f\u00e5 30.000 Eurbonus-point i kompensation. Rejste man p\u00e5 en bonusbillet kombineret med SAS Mastercard Premium rabat, s\u00e5 svarede det reelt til at man kun betalte skatter og afgifter p\u00e5 en one-way flyvning.<br \/>\nDerfor blev det ogs\u00e5 &#8211; hos mange bonusj\u00e6gere &#8211; et had\/k\u00e6rligheds-forhold til flyet, som blev udviklet. Kvalitetsm\u00e6ssigt ville alle helst undg\u00e5 flyet, men kompensationen (til de som aktiv selv s\u00f8gte om det &#8211; det skete ikke automatisk) var til geng\u00e6ld s\u00e5 god, at det ofte ikke var nogen katastrofe at havne p\u00e5 flyet. Ihvertfald ikke hvis man rejste privat og ikke havde behov for f.eks. Wifi og kunne leve med, at det var helt normalt at der var fejl p\u00e5 mange af stolene ombord.<br \/>\n<strong>Flyet der ikke ville d\u00f8<\/strong><br \/>\nSAS har i flere omgange meldt ud, at LN-RKP skulle pensioneres og erstattes af en spritny Airbus A330 Enhanced. Dette fly, SE-REH, blev &#8211; efter flere forsinkelser &#8211; leveret til SAS d. 5. juli i \u00e5r, men LN-RKP m\u00e5tte stadig vente lidt med den tiltr\u00e6ngte pensionering.<br \/>\nDet nye fly skulle nemlig f\u00f8rst godkendes til at flyve til USA og Kina inden det kunne erstatte reserveflyet og det tager lidt tid. Nu er SE-REH s\u00e5 blevet godkendt til at flyve til USA og kan idag for f\u00f8rste gang s\u00e6tte snuden mod Boston.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/nu-har-sas-faaet-leveret-erstatningen-for-den-grimme-aelling\/\"><em><strong>L\u00e6s ogs\u00e5: SAS har endeligt f\u00e5et leveret erstatningen for LN-RKP<\/strong><\/em><\/a><br \/>\nGodkendelsen til at flyve til Kina lader vente lidt p\u00e5 sig, men det er helt normalt at det tager lidt l\u00e6ngere tid med det kinesiske bureaukrati inden man for denne godkendelse fra dem.<br \/>\nMen med USA-godkendelse, s\u00e5 kan SAS alts\u00e5 tage flyet i brug og benytte andre fly fra fl\u00e5den p\u00e5 ruterne til Kina.<br \/>\n<strong>Fremtidens reservefly<\/strong><br \/>\nDet nye Airbus A330 Enhanced fly, SE-REH, skal v\u00e6re en &#8220;erstatning&#8221; for LN-RKP. Men du skal nok ikke forvente at SAS bruger dette helt nye fly som et reservefly p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5de som LN-RKP. I praksis vil der nok v\u00e6re tale om at SAS benytter det nye fly som en fast del af ruteplanen, men i stedet giver lidt mere luft i planl\u00e6gningen af de \u00e6ldre Airbus A340-fly, som brugere mere br\u00e6ndstof end de nyere fly. Det kan ogs\u00e5 t\u00e6nkes at den ekstra kapacitet bruges til at give alle fly lidt mere luft i programmet fremover.<br \/>\nMen \u00e9n ting er sikkert. LN-RKP er ikke l\u00e6ngere reservefly i SAS langrutefl\u00e5de, s\u00e5 passagerne skal ikke frygte at havne i den gamle kabine l\u00e6ngere.<br \/>\nInden l\u00e6nge vil flyet blive fl\u00f8jet til ophugning, hvor det skal skilles ad og alle dele, som kan bruges som reservedele, vil blive benyttet p\u00e5 SAS \u00f8vrige A340 fly.
