Hans mission er at flyve fra Nordkap i Norge til Kap Det Gode H\u00e5b i Sydafrika &#8211; helt p\u00e5 egen h\u00e5nd &#8211; og med samme udstyr, som svenskeren G\u00f6sta Andr\u00e9e, gjorde det i 1929.<\/strong><br \/>\nAllerede i juli tyvstartede han lidt dog med f\u00f8rste del af turen fra Nordkap i Norge til Stockholm i Sverige. Men 1. september 2015 startede den st\u00f8rste del af den store rejse da han lettede fra Barkarby lufthavnen i Stockholm og satte kursen mod K\u00f8benhavn.<br \/>\nJohan Wiklund er til dagligt kaptajn i SAS, hvor han flyver moderne Airbus fly. Han har altid v\u00e6ret lidt af en eventyrer og har bl.a. tidligere krydset Atlanterhavet i en lille sejlb\u00e5d sammen med sin bror.<br \/>\nFinalCall.travel m\u00f8dte ham ved den historiske Vilhelm Lauritzen terminal i K\u00f8benhavns Lufthavn inden han skulle flyve videre p\u00e5 sin f\u00e6rd &#8211; med n\u00e6ste stop i Berlin:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJohan Wiklund forventer &#8211; hvis alt g\u00e5r efter planen &#8211; at lande i Kap Det Gode H\u00e5b d. 24. oktober kl. 15.10.
