FinalCall.travel var med og kan her vise dig alt om det nye fly.<\/strong><br \/>\nSelvom flyet har v\u00e6ret i drift hos mange andre flyselskaber i en del \u00e5r, s\u00e5 har b\u00e5de passagerer og ansatte hos SAS set frem til denne dag l\u00e6nge. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nHer kunne SAS-chef, Rickard Gustafson, stolt byde velkommen og afsl\u00f8re det nye SAS fly, som ogs\u00e5 er det f\u00f8rste langrute fly i den nye SAS bemaling.<br \/>\nHer fortalte han om flyets fortr\u00e6ffeligheder, som en mere st\u00f8jsvag kabine og om at flyet benytter betydeligt mindre br\u00e6ndstof end de \u00e6ldre langrutefly. Noget som passer godt ind i SAS strategi om v\u00e6re s\u00e5 b\u00e6redygtige som muligt.<br \/>\nOgs\u00e5 Airbus CCO, Christian Scherer og den danske transportminister, Benny Engelbrecht var blandt talerne, som lovpriste det nye fly og \u00f8nskede SAS tillykke med deres f\u00f8rste eksemplar.<br \/>\n<strong>Kom med ombord og se flyet<\/strong><br \/>\nEfter velkomsttalerne, s\u00e5 blev vi inviteret ombord p\u00e5 det nye fly og kunne som de f\u00f8rste f\u00e5 lov at se hvordan SAS havde valgt at indrette det.<br \/>\nVi var allerede klar over at s\u00e6dekonfigurationen bliver lidt anderledes i forhold til de eksisterende langrutefly &#8211; prim\u00e6rt p.g.a. en noget bredere kabine i A350. Men hvordan ser flyet ud i praksis. Det kigger vi n\u00e6rmere p\u00e5 her.<br \/>\n<strong>Fokus p\u00e5 Business Class fremfor SAS Plus<\/strong><br \/>\nSAS har valgt at indrette flyet p\u00e5 en m\u00e5de, som minder om den vi kender fra Airbus A340. Dvs. det vil v\u00e6re udstyret med en stor Business Class kabine foran d\u00f8r 2 og en mindre lige efter d\u00f8r 2. Det betyder ogs\u00e5 at SAS Plus kabinen bliver mindre end p\u00e5 f.eks. A330.<br \/>\nFlyet f\u00e5r i alt 300 s\u00e6der, som bliver fordelt med 40 i Business Class, 32 i SAS Plus og 228 i SAS Go.<br \/>\n<strong>SAS Go (Economy Class)<\/strong><br \/>\nDen bredere kabine betyder, at der p\u00e5 SAS Go (Economy Class) vil v\u00e6re 9 s\u00e6der i bredden fremfor de 8, som er p\u00e5 A330 og A340. P\u00e5 Airbus A350 bliver konfigurationen 3-3-3, som vi ogs\u00e5 kender det fra andre flyselskaber, som benytter flytypen. Alle s\u00e6der har en sk\u00e6rm i s\u00e6det foran (som dog er blevet lidt st\u00f8rre), standard s\u00e6deafstand for Economy Class og et usb-stik til opladning af elektroniske enheder. Konfigurationen bliver her 2-4-2, hvilket ogs\u00e5 giver et midters\u00e6de mere pr. r\u00e6kke end i SAS Plus p\u00e5 A330 og A340. Selve stolen er samme model, som de eksisterende og giver alle passagerer direkte adgang til midtergangen. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nMen der er nogle sm\u00e5\u00e6ndringer, som absolut ogs\u00e5 m\u00e5 betegnes som positive.<br \/>\nFor det f\u00f8rste har SAS droppet luftmadrassen i stolen og erstattet den med en mere traditionel s\u00e6dehynde. Den eksisterende luftmadras har der v\u00e6ret meget delte meninger om, men de fleste som har fl\u00f8jet meget p\u00e5 SAS Business har &#8211; med stor sansynlighed &#8211;\u00a0 oplevet problemer med at den har tabt luften nogle gange. Desuden oplever mange den som varm at ligge p\u00e5. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nB\u00e5de den nye madras og det nye bord skulle ogs\u00e5 kr\u00e6ve betydeligt mindre vedligehold, hvilket naturligvis er en \u00f8konomisk fordel for SAS, men giver ogs\u00e5 passagererne den fordel, at risikoen for at m\u00f8de en stol med fejl (forh\u00e5bentligt) bliver betydeligt mindre.<br \/>\nSk\u00e6rmen i Business Class stolen bliver lidt st\u00f8rre end vi kender den i dag, men er ellers samme type, som tidligere. Der er alts\u00e5 ikke tale om en ny type, s\u00e5 man ser mindre af sit eget spejlbillede. SAS har tilk\u00f8bt bagagehylder i midtersektionen p\u00e5 SAS Business, hvilket ikke er standard p\u00e5 A350. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<strong>Mere fragt med flyet<\/strong><br \/>\nI forhold til de Airbus A330 og A340 fly, som SAS hidtil har benyttet p\u00e5 langruterne, s\u00e5 giver Airbus A350 ogs\u00e5 muligheden for at medbringe mere fragt &#8211; eller &#8220;payload&#8221; som det hedder i luftfarten.<br \/>\nEn Airbus A350 kan medtage omkring 9 ton mere end en A330 og 4 ton mere end A340. S\u00e5 skal vi naturligvis tage i betragtning, at flyet ogs\u00e5 har flere passagerer ombord end p\u00e5 b\u00e5de A330 og A340 &#8211; og de vejer ogs\u00e5 lidt.<br \/>\nI praksis betyder det s\u00e5 at en A350 vil kunne medtage omkring 5-6 ton ekstra fragt i forhold til en A330 og omkring den samme m\u00e6ngde som en A340. Til geng\u00e6ld s\u00e5 kan A350 flyve med maksimal payload i hele 10.000 km, hvilket betyder at den kan fyldes helt op p\u00e5 alle SAS ruter &#8211; uanset vind og vejrforhold.<br \/>\n<strong>Forbedringer for crewet<\/strong><br \/>\nEn anden forskel p\u00e5 A350 i forhold til A330 og A340 er at kabinepersonalet f\u00e5r bedre mulighed for at hvile p\u00e5 de lange flyvninger.<br \/>\nI det bagerste galley er der nemlig placeret et hvilemodul, hvor personalet kan hvile i sm\u00e5 k\u00f8jer i et aflukket omr\u00e5de. Hvilemodulet er reelt placeret over de bagerste passagerr\u00e6kker under taget og man kommer derind via en trappe i bagerste galley. Placeringen af hvilemodulet betyder ogs\u00e5 at de bagerste r\u00e6kker p\u00e5 SAS Go (i midtersektionen) har begr\u00e6nset afgang til bagagehylderne over s\u00e6derne.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34955\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34955\" style=\"width: 1800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-34955\" src=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/IMG_4849.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1350\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34955\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Personalets hvilemodul bagerst i flyet. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<strong>F\u00f8rste flyvning i januar<\/strong><br \/>\nF\u00f8rste flyvning med passagerer for flyet bliver den 28. januar 2020, hvor det letter fra K\u00f8benhavns Lufthavn med kurs mod Chicago. Herefter skal det bruges p\u00e5 ruterne til bl.a. Chicago samt til Beijing. S\u00e5 snart der kommer flere fly af typen i SAS-fl\u00e5den, s\u00e5 vil man ogs\u00e5 kunne opleve flytypen p\u00e5 andre SAS ruter, hvor det vil blive &#8220;slinget&#8221; i et mix med de \u00e6ldre fly.<br \/>\n<strong>Skoleflyvninger i december og januar<\/strong><br \/>\nI tiden fra nu og frem til f\u00f8rste passagerflyvning i slutningen af januar, s\u00e5 vil SAS flyve en del skoleflyvninger med flyet for at tr\u00e6ne piloterne p\u00e5 den nye flytype. Desv\u00e6rre, s\u00e5 kommer det til at ske uden passagerer og vil prim\u00e6rt ske p\u00e5 meget korte ruter til lufthavne med begr\u00e6nset trafik. Derfor kan vi nok forvente at mange af disse kommer til at g\u00e5 mellem hjemmebasen i K\u00f8benhavn og f.eks. Billund. Men andre lufthavne, som G\u00f6teborg og Malm\u00f6 kan ogs\u00e5 komme i spil.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_34959\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34959\" style=\"width: 1800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-34959\" src=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/IMG_4865.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1800\" height=\"1350\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-34959\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cockpit p\u00e5 A350. Foto: Flemming Lundberg Poulsen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<strong>Fremvisningstur de kommende dage<\/strong><br \/>\nEfter arrangementet i K\u00f8benhavn, s\u00e5 skal flyet en tur til b\u00e5de Stockholm og Oslo, hvor det ogs\u00e5 skal vises frem for presse, medarbejdere og VIP&#8217;er. Allerede i aften g\u00e5r turen mod Stockholm, hvor flyet imorgen skal fremvises. I overmorgen st\u00e5r Oslo s\u00e5 for tur.<br \/>\n<strong>8 fly i alt<\/strong><br \/>\nSAS f\u00e5r i alt leveret 8 fly af denne type og planen er at de alle skal konfigureres, som det fly vi har set idag. Alts\u00e5 med i alt 300 s\u00e6der ombord.<br \/>\nAirbus A350-900 kan i alt medbringe 50 ton last (payload) og totalt veje 268 ton ved take-off. Det er n\u00e6sten 67 meter langt og har et vingesp\u00e6nd p\u00e5 sm\u00e5 65 meter.<br \/>\nR\u00e6kkevidden p\u00e5 flyet er opgivet til at v\u00e6re maksimalt 13.800 km, men i praksis &#8211; med et fuldt lastet fly og vejrforhold taget i betragtning &#8211; s\u00e5 taler vi nok n\u00e6rmere omkring 10.000 km. Screenshot: gcmap.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Opsummering<\/strong><br \/>\nMed tilf\u00f8jelsen af A350 i fl\u00e5den hos SAS, s\u00e5 kan passagererne se frem til at f\u00e5 rettet nogle af de sm\u00e5ting, som ikke har fungeret optimalt i kabinen hidtil. Benst\u00f8tten er tilbage p\u00e5 SAS Plus ligesom bordet er forbedret og muligheden for at l\u00e6gge arml\u00e6net ned er et stort plus.\u00a0 P\u00e5 SAS Business er sk\u00e6rmen st\u00f8rre og b\u00e5de bordet og madrassen er blevet forbedret.<br \/>\nFlyet har ogs\u00e5 et lavere st\u00f8jniveau, hvilket er ret tydeligt for passagererne og bidrager til en langt mere behagelig flyrejse. Samtidigt er kabinetrykket h\u00f8jere, hvilket ogs\u00e5 skulle medvirke til at man bliver mindre tr\u00e6t af at flyve i mange timer. Selve kabinen er bredere end p\u00e5 A330 og A340 og selvom den ekstra bredde er brugt p\u00e5 at presse et ekstra s\u00e6de ind p\u00e5 hver r\u00e6kke, s\u00e5 virker flyet stadigt mere &#8220;luftigt&#8221; end de \u00e6ldre fly.<br \/>\nUlempen med A350 er at der p\u00e5 b\u00e5de SAS Go og SAS Plus kommer flere midters\u00e6der. SAS er ikke v\u00e6rre end andre her og s\u00e6debredden forbliver nogenlunde som vi kender den, men midters\u00e6der er og bliver de mindst popul\u00e6re s\u00e6der p\u00e5 et fly.
