Ikke minst p\u00e5 grunn av deres Singapore Sling og kjente Long Bar som er blitt et &#8220;must do&#8221; for de fleste som bes\u00f8ker Singapore. N\u00e5 stenger hotellet for \u00e5 gj\u00f8re plass til en st\u00f8rre renovering, men FinalCall.travel var invitert innenfor til et eksklusivt siste bes\u00f8k innen det stenger.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FinalCall.travel var invitert innenfor p\u00e5 Raffles hotel for \u00e5 kunne oppleve hotellet p\u00e5 n\u00e6rmeste hold innen de stenger hovedparten av hotellet for renovering.<\/p>\n<p>Frem til jul vil det bare v\u00e6re noen f\u00e5 v\u00e6relser tilgjengelige og den flotte resepsjonen og den store Long Bar vil likeledes v\u00e6re lukket av for gjestene. Mye har skjedd i Singapore siden da har hav-utsikten blitt erstattet av bygninger, men hotellet bevarer stadig sin adresse som passet godt til beliggenheten den gang, nemlig 1 Beach Road. Restaureringer gjennom tiden har alltid v\u00e6rt tro mot den opprinnelige stilen og idag er hotellet fredet, hvilket ogs\u00e5 betyr at n\u00e5r hotellet gjen\u00e5pner neste \u00e5r, s\u00e5 vil det fremst\u00e5 i den kjente gamle stilen, men i helt ny\u00a0stand og med mer moderne fasiliteter.<\/p>\n<p>Hotellet er nesten som et museum. Med den lange historien og de mange kjente og innflydelsesrike gjester som har bes\u00f8kt hotellet gjennom tiden, s\u00e5 rommer veggene p\u00e5 mange historier. Derfor er det ogs\u00e5 en hel gang som er utsmykket med historiske bilder av kjente gjester gjennom tiden og bilder fra hotellets historie.
