Ikke mindst p.g.a. deres Singapore Sling og kendte Long Bar, som er blevet et &#8220;must do&#8221; for de fleste som bes\u00f8ger Singapore. Nu lukker hotellet ned for at g\u00f8re plads til en st\u00f8rre renovering, men FinalCall.travel var inviteret indenfor til et eksklusivt sidste kig inden lukningen.<\/strong><br \/>\nFinalCall.travel var inviteret indenfor p\u00e5 Raffles hotel for at kunne opleve hotellet p\u00e5 n\u00e6rmeste hold inden de lukkede hovedparten af hotellet ned for renovering i s\u00f8ndags.<br \/>\nFrem til jul vil der kun v\u00e6re nogle f\u00e5 v\u00e6relser tilg\u00e6ngelige og den flotte reception og den store Long Bar vil ligeledes v\u00e6re lukket af for g\u00e6sterne. Fra december lukkes de resterende v\u00e6relser og hotellet forventer igen at kunne modtage g\u00e6ster &#8211; i et totalrenoveret hotel fra slutningen af sommeren 2018.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_25436\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25436\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/sidste-kig-paa-legendariske-raffles-hotel-singapore\/raffles-reception\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-25436\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-25436\" src=\"https:\/\/finalcall.travel\/da\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/08\/Raffles-reception-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-25436\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lobbyen som nu er lukket ned for renovering.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nDa Raffles Hotel \u00e5bnede i 1887 var det med kun 10 v\u00e6relser i en mindre bungalow, som dengang havde udsigt over havet. Meget er sket i Singapore siden da og havudsigten er blevet erstattet af bygninger, men hotellet bevarer stadig sin adresse, som passede godt til beliggenheden dengang, nemlig 1 Beach Road. Restoreringer igennem tiden var altid v\u00e6ret tro mod den oprindelige stil og idag er hotellet fredet, hvilket ogs\u00e5 betyder at n\u00e5r hotellet gen\u00e5bner n\u00e6ste \u00e5r, s\u00e5 vil det fremst\u00e5 i den kendte gamle stil, men i helt ny\u00a0stand og med mere moderne faciliteter.<br \/>\nHotellet er n\u00e6sten som et museum. Med den lange historie og de mange kendte og indflydelsesrige\u00a0g\u00e6ster, som har bes\u00f8gt hotellet igennem tiden, s\u00e5 rummer v\u00e6ggene p\u00e5 mange historier. Derfor er der ogs\u00e5 en hel gang, som er udsmykket med historiske billeder af kendte g\u00e6ster igennem tiden og billeder fra hotellets historie.
